Process modeling

Process modeling is at the heart of material compliance. The requirements of a properly functioning material compliance management strategy demand a multi-discipline approach that encompasses all the departments within the organization.

New product ideas are scrutinized in the concept phase with regard to potential compliance problems. This process must remain active over the entire product life cycle. The purchasing department and potential product or material suppliers must be included in the control process no later than the pre-production development stage. The quality and production departments join in during series development through to the start-up of production.
